You can choose to be notified of certain events in your Kubit environment. Depending on the type of event, you can select either by Email, Slack (if configured) or In-Product.

Notification Panel

You can access the Notification Panel by either selecting Personal Settings as shown above, or by selecting the bell icon, and then selecting the gear icon.

When you enter the Notification panel you will see:

• A list of events for which you can be notified.
• The type of notification: Email, Slack or In-Product.

Configuring Notifications

Email Notifications

Email notifications are available for Dashboard and Report refreshes. It uses the email address in your profile.

A sample email would look like this:

Slack Notifications

You can receive Slack notifications on certain Dashboard and Report activities. Under preferences, you must be connected to your Slack workspace.

Once connected, events will appear as a Direct Message in your Slack account.

In-Product Notifications

New Notifications will appear in-Product, denoted by a red dot on the bell. Click on the blue dot (beside the notification) to mark it as read. Clicking on the item will open the item in question. Click on the gear icon to go to the Notification Panel.
